Artist's Description
Colorized version of a photo titled "African American baseball players from Morris Brown College, with boy and another man standing at door, Atlanta, Georgia", which is taken from a collection of early 20th century photos compiled by the Library of Congress. The original photo was created in 1899 or 1900 and it, along with over 350 other photographs, was compiled by W. E. B. Du Bois for the "American Negro" exhibit at the 1900 Paris Exposition.
